| Note to those who say; well he rose while it was still
dark. Which proves he rose on a Saturday. That argument
is not valid to say that he didn't rise on the first
day of the week, because the day started when the sun
went down and we know it doesn't get dark right away
anyway. It was well into the first day of the week when
he rose. We know this by Mark 16:9, the word early is
the same word as morning used in Mark 13:35 and we see
that means after midnight. So indeed Yahushua was risen
on the first day of the week and yes it was a Sunday.

Incorrect Wednesday Crucifixion (THIS WOULD BE A 27AD CRUCIFIXION)

Luke 24:21 But we trusted that it had been he which should
have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third
day since these things were done. It has been three days passing
since these things have happened: Counting backwards from
Saturday- Friday 1 Day, Thursday 2 Days, Wednesday 3 Days.
Mat 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in
the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and
three nights in the heart of the earth.

Must believe that the Yahushua was raised on the Sabbath
day, which translations like YLT and LITV, the literal translations
do state. The other problem with this is why didn't they come
to the tomb on Friday. The other problem with this is that
Yahushua was a first fruit, and the first fruit was the day
after the Sabbath or on the first day of the week. The other
problem is that they were running after they discovered he
was not in the tomb, which not specifically stated in the
Word, most likely was against the Sabbath.

INCORRECT WEDNESDAY CRUCIFIXION
Using Wednesday with a first day raised from the dead you have
four nights and three days. Not 3 days and 3 Nights. The other
problem with this is Luke 24:21 would put the crucifixion on
Thursday, which would make Luke 24:21 not line up with truth/scripture. |
INCORRECT FRIDAY CRUCIFIXION
Using Friday you can't get a literal three days and three nights.
The 14th of Abib did not fall on a Friday from the years 26AD
through 34AD. So this belief does not line up with scripture. |
