Satellite We have stationary satellites that do not move above the earth in relation to the earth. These satellites would fall to the ground if they weren't rotating to match the earth's rotational speed. |

Satellite When balanced correctly between two forces, those of the earth and those of the solar system, the satellite is in a neutral zone of balance. The pull is nearly equal on both sides allowing it to remain in a balanced postion, similar to this levitating magnet. Watch video here. The satellites do have the ability to adjust there position.
