That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for
he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth
rain on the just and on the unjust. |
One
can read that it is the sun that has motion and not that earth spinning.
It is the sun that rises and not the earth that spins. |
Isaiah
13:10
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not
give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth,
and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

Here we can read that
the sun has motion.

Psalms
19:4-6
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to
the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth
as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of
the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing
hid from the heat thereof.

Contrary to most teachings
God's word clearly states that the sun has motion, it travels
around the world, if you look at the hebrew word world in this
passage it refers to earth or a particular place that has inhabitants.

Joshua
10:12-14
At that time Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD gave
the Amorites over to the sons of Israel, and he said in the sight
of Israel, "Sun, stand still at Gibeon, and moon, in the Valley
of Aijalon." And the sun stood still, and the moon stopped,
until the nation took vengeance on their enemies. Is this not written
in the Book of Jashar? The sun stopped in the midst of heaven and
did not hurry to set for about a whole day. There has been no day
like it before or since, when the LORD heeded the voice of a man,
for the LORD fought for Israel.

Here one
can clearly hear or see that the sun has motion, not the earth,
as taught by most schools. |
Psalms
93:1
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed
with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also
is stablished, that it cannot be moved. |
The
earth/world cannot be moved, it does not rotate or spin. |
Psalms
96:10
Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns! Yes, the world is
established; it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples
with equity."

Like
a building it is established, however unlike mans ability to build
a building God says the earth shall never be moved. |

Ephesians
4:10-14
He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above
all heavens, that he might fill all things.) And he gave some,
apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some,
pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the
work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge
of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the
stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more
children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind
of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby

Job
26:7
He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the
earth upon nothing.

Tells
us that the earth is independent.*
It does not orbit something else.

Chronicles 16:30:
fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable,
that it be not moved. |
It
is stable and that it not be moved.
This means it is not rotating, or orbiting.

3:11
Sun and moon stood still in the heavens at the glint of your flying
arrows, at the lightning of your flashing spear. |
For
the sun to stop it has to have motion in the first place. Shows
that the sun orbits the Earth.

Isaiah
38:8
I will make the shadow cast by the sun go back the ten steps it
has gone down on the stairway of Ahaz.' " So the sunlight went
back the ten steps it had gone down. |
God
moves the sunlight back ten steps. He did not rotate the Earth
ten steps because it does not rotate.

113:3
From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD'S
name is to be praised.
|
Once
again you can read that it is the sun that has motion and not
that earth spinning.
