Queen of Spades, you might be saying what the heck does this have to do with a better life. Remember day four, hard work and little talk about wisdom? I was following the Spirit's guide, and I had a deck of cards sitting on my desk from my son and I playing some poker FOR FUN this weekend and last night I heard the Spirit say flip over seven cards and the seventh card is going to have some meaning for you. So I did, it was the Queen of Spades, and first thought was Queen of Spades must be wisdom.
So this morning I make my coffee have some banana chocolate nut bread with Irish butter and I google Queen of Spades Wisdom and this what stood out to me about the card '...... The Queen of Spades judges by willingness to work and by the degree of devotion in quest for wisdom. They are the disciplinarians.' This might need a little back story and it might be right up your alley as well. About five months ago I turned in my notice at work and decided I was going to live off savings. It's been quite the adventure and a couple things I've come to realize; I was making the most money I've ever made which for some may sound pretty good and others may sound pretty poor, right around 30k a year. I worked four days a week from home and had Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. Sounds pretty good huh. I was getting warn thin and I wasn't very happy and I believed spiritually and physically if I kept at it I would have issues. So these past five months I've been trying to think of way to get out of the system the matrix and make money for my family so we could have better or more experiences. I could care less about the money it's just that you need the money to live and have those better experiences.
You can only go on so many bicycle rides, play catch, cards or ping-pong so much, things that don't cost a lot of money.
So I've been doing a lot of thinking and I came to the conclusion that it's all BS. I prefer not to cuss or look into cards like I did being a Biblical man, however things just made sense that really it's just a game to get your money and if you're getting more money you're just playing the game to get someone else's money. I'm thinking this isn't a cool game that I'd like to play unless I can offer a solid product that is really benefiting someone or their family, which in my opinion is not many products. So I Youtube it's all BS, I get some songs and George Carlin bit about God and the Bible, which I enjoy George Carlin's skits, however since my miracle of faith change in God, a story for another day, I find making fun of God normally offensive not always so I passed on that skit, but I did roll unto Ecclesiastes which basically agrees life is BS, or the choice of the word is Vanity. Basically the moral of the twelve chapters is be happy enjoy your food, enjoy your work, that it's good to do something great to be remembered by the ages (positive great) because most people whether rich or poor are just going to be forgotten, so Love God and keep His commandments.
So this begs the question what do we want to do for work that we're happy with and where do we find wisdom to progress and be happy with? Normally this site is giving guidance and sharing insights, today I'm asking myself what is my willingness to work and where will I find wisdom to do it? Please tune into tomorrow Lord willing and we'll have some insights and answers for us. Read More
