Eternal Destination Heaven

1. John 14:2-3

   In my Father's house are many mansions... I go to prepare a place for you... that where I am, there ye may be also.

   Jesus promises His followers a place with Him in Heaven.
2. Philippians 3:20-21

   But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ...

   Our true home and citizenship are in Heaven.
3. Colossians 3:1-2

   If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above... Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

   Believers are to focus on heavenly things, not earthly ones.
4. 2 Corinthians 5:1

   If our earthly house... were dissolved, we have a building of God, eternal in the heavens.

   Our eternal dwelling is in Heaven, not on Earth.
5. Hebrews 13:14

   For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

   Earth is temporary; Heaven is permanent.
6. Hebrews 11:16

   But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly... for he hath prepared for them a city.

   The faithful long for a heavenly country prepared by God.
7. 1 Peter 1:3-4

   ...an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, reserved in heaven for you.

   Our eternal inheritance is in Heaven.
8. Matthew 6:19-20

   Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth... But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven...

   Our true treasures are stored in Heaven.
9. John 17:24

   Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am...

   Jesus desires His people to be with Him in Heaven.
10. Ephesians 2:6

    And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

    Believers are already positioned with Christ in the heavenly places.
11. 2 Timothy 4:18

    The Lord shall... preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom...

    Paul affirms that God will bring His people into His heavenly kingdom.
12. Matthew 5:12

    Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven...

    Jesus promises eternal reward in Heaven.
