- First Resurrection (Previous Chapter 1 Th 3:13 / Revelation 20:4-6)
- OT Saints 1 Th 4.13/14/16
- After 70AD New Testament Saints 1 Th 4.15/17 As they die
13 I do not wish you (First Century Christians) to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep (OT Saints), that you may not sorrow, as also the rest who have no hope (non believers),
14 for if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also God will bring with Him those asleep (OT Saints) through Jesus,
15 we say this to you in the word of the LORD, that we who are (First Century-To Present) living—who remain over to the presence of the LORD—may not precede those asleep (Living won't go before Dead),
16 because the LORD Himself, with a shout, with the voice of a chief-messenger, and with the trumpet of God, will come down from Heaven (down to Hades), and the dead in (with preferred over in) Christ will rise with first (OT Saints), (this is not the same as the first resurrection in Revelation);
17 then we who are living, who are remaining over, will be snatched up together (at their death) with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air, and so we will always be with the LORD (on going to be with Christ);
18 so, then, comfort one another with these words.
