EXODUS

Exodus recounts the story of the Israelites' liberation from slavery in Egypt. It begins with the oppression of the Israelites under Pharaoh and the birth of Moses, who becomes their leader. After encountering God in the burning bush, Moses confronts Pharaoh, demanding the release of his people. Pharaoh refuses, prompting a series of plagues unleashed by God.

Despite the plagues, Pharaoh remains obstinate until the final plague, the death of the firstborn, persuades him to let the Israelites go. The Israelites depart, led by Moses, but Pharaoh's army pursues them to the Red Sea. With divine intervention, Moses parts the sea, allowing the Israelites to escape safely, while the pursuing army drowns.

In the wilderness, Moses receives the Ten Commandments and other laws from God on Mount Sinai. The Israelites construct the tabernacle, a portable sanctuary for worship. However, they struggle with faithfulness and obedience, leading to consequences. Despite their challenges, God remains faithful to his covenant with them, guiding them towards the Promised Land.
