Jesus and the Bible

The Bible is a collection of sacred writings that spans thousands of years and tells the unified story of God's love, justice, and redemption. It is divided into the Old Testament, which lays the foundation through the law, prophets, and promises of a coming Savior, and the New Testament, which reveals the fulfillment of those promises in Jesus.

Jesus of Nazareth is the central figure of the Bible. He is the Son of God, born of a virgin, who lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught with divine authority. His message was one of love, forgiveness, repentance, and the coming of God's kingdom. He was crucified, died, and was buried—but on the third day, He rose again. His resurrection offers the hope of eternal life to all who believe in Him.

Jesus' life and teachings show God's character in human form. Through His death and resurrection, He provides salvation and reconciliation with God, not through works, but by grace through faith.
